My nephew is the coolest and he is talking so well now! he knows colors!!! And he can play basketball like nobody's business!!! How many two year olds can shoot a jump shot and make it??? (On his little basketball goal of course!) i love that kid!

True Love Waits

So, alot of people have asked about my true love waits ring lately. The conversation starts off as "Oh, so you are married?" In which, i go into my spill...

No, I am not married. YET! My mom actually got me a true love waits ring at my request when i was in the ninth or tenth grade. It was then that i made a comittment to remain a virgin til i get married...yes, a VIRGIN.  Ever since I have had a TLW ring, it has been on my finger (except for the time i lost it cuz it fell off in the mud while 4 wheeler riding...3weeks later, i had a new one!) The ring very seldom comes off and if it does, it's not off for long.

The purpose of the ring??? To remind me of my commitment to God, myself, and my future husband. 

When will I take it off for good??? I wont. My husband will though...on our wedding day. Right before he puts the wedding band on my finger!!!

So yeah, I am 2 days away from being 22 years old and I am a virgin and PROUD OF IT!!!

I've been asked: "what if you don't marry a virgin?"  Well, hello?!?!?!?!? EVERYONE makes mistakes. i've made mistakes. I would not hold that against him at all.

Ok, so here's the story... **Names have been changed to protect the guilty**

One dark and starry night, 2 of my brothers (Bunny and PattyCake) from home came to WCU...one of them to see one of my dear friends whose name is Sukie (they are dating thanks to my wonderful match making skills)...so anyway, LouLou, Bunny, PattyCake, Sukie, Jissy, and I watched a silly movie about a penguin. Then since wrestling is what we used to do in the good ole days of Co-Lin Community College, we proceded to go outside.

here, i get beat up, and thrown around...literally. So we decided to play football...Tackle Football, that is. So i get thrown around yet again, but i always come up with the ball...

Ring Ring...LouLou disappears to talk on the phone

Bam...Whap...Pow...Bunny throws the ball and pegs me in the face

Sukie, being the nice one, tries to save my life by crushing my ribs...

Game Over...time to go the the room...but where is LouLou???

I run to the room, worried, and devastated because the phone call must have killed LouLou. She isn't in the room. I run back outside, Sukie and I sneak around teh building...we hear LouLou's voice...She is alive!!! But who is she talking too??? We run the opposite direction, and around the building. We figured the best approach would be from behind... We run and we run...

But WAIT....

Ouch...oooo...owwww...there are stickers stabbing at our bare feet. We yell, and fall to the ground. Lights flash, we run, sneak behing the staircase outside, Sukie throws me up and over the rails (literally) and I crawl slowly up to LouLou...she is alone and on the phone so to scare her, I laugh...Whahahahaha.

LouLou was saved...all thanks to Sukie and me.

i am sore, tired, and my feet and face hurt...shower then to bed...God time in the AM!!! Whooo-hooo

Ok, so...life's not half bad...or is it not half good??? Hmmm...either way, i'm not complaining a bit!

I can rap...and lindz and i can totally do screamo!!!

I've been consumed by thoughts lately...not bad thoughts...just thoughts i have never really had before...thoughts that make me think even more.

I had a realization today: Ok, so in 9months and 14days (give or take a few) I will be a RN... Meaning that i can go anywhere in the WORLD and be a nurse and help people. I can go to California, Texas, Florida, Mexico, Guatamala, India, Australia, Afganistan...ANYWHERE!!! Thats pretty exciting!!!

God has big things planned, and i'm super excited!!! Where He leads, I will follow!!!
